“This is a place to come and enjoy life. It is so much better than I had anticipated. It reminds me of my days in college. I love having waterfront property and swimming in the Sound. I love the light and the smell of the sea breeze. I’m a really independent person and I want to be prepared and not become a burden to my kids. We fell in love with the apartment and decided we were going to do this now.”

Please join us in congratulating our May 2024 Employee of the Month, Miriam Bautista! 🎉
Miriam is a dedicated member of the housekeeping team. She arrives for every shift with a smile and a can-do attitude, ready and willing to do whatever is needed. She often jumps in to handle emergency cleanings to assure a safe and clean environment for all. Miriam genuinely cares about the members she sees each week, often stopping by to check on them and say hello during her breaks. She has even visited members on her time off while they are in the Bluffs for Short-Term Rehabilitation to ensure they have all they need. Miriam is always willing to help any team member when her time permits and recently took on additional responsibilities, cleaning and managing inventory for guest accommodations. Currently she is in the process of creating and maintaining an upscale Peconic Landing standard, so all guests experience an exceptional stay. Along with this, she assists with the training of new housekeepers. We are very fortunate to have Miriam as part of our team. - Darryl Volinski, VP of Environmental Services, & Betty Bibey-Hascoat, Supervisor
