Nobuyuki Tsujii, blind from birth, achieved the rare feat of winning the Van Cliburn Competition and debuting at Carnegie Hall. His 2011 recital ranged from Beethoven to Mussorgsky & ended with his own elegy for the 2011 earthquake and tsunami victims.
