Stony Brook Southampton Hospital presents: The Myths and Metaphors of Palliative Care

The interdisciplinary community-based palliative medicine team will tackle the myths that have come to surround the practice of the Medical Board Certified specialty of palliative care over the past decade. We will demonstrate how palliative care is expanding globally to fulfill the urgent, unmet need in patient care. Questions welcomed.
